This teacup is amazing! It is like Bizen, but has a metallic feel, a shiny glossy texture. It has amazing heat distribution and is stunning. I am sad Tsugaru ware doesn't get the love it deserves.
It is sandy, granular, mineral. It is between modern minimalism and the rough, humble roots of Buncheong Korean ceramics. Stunningly thin, pairs perfectly with kamairicha.
