KEIYA KATO was born in 1935 in Aichi prefecture and created variety of ceramics under the name of Sasagama (Sasa klin) in Seto city.
His Chawan (tea bowl) was donated to the Emperor and Empress and
also Prime Minister's Office and Ministry of Foreign Affairs purchased his works.
His works received awards such as Seto pottery award grandprix, Asahi pottery award, Nitten, and many others.
