Antique lidded Chawan from late Edo period to early Meiji period (around 1860-1920)

Known as Ko-Imari (Ko means old), old Imari ware was made in the early 17th century in Saga Prefecture. This chawan bowl is made in late Edo period and It is originally made as rice chawan bowl, but usable for many dishes.

The Lid, is also usable as small plate - suitable for sushi/sashimi soy-sauce plate.
